En el Caribe se ha avanzado mucho en lo referente a la reducción de las nuevas infecciones por el VIH y las muertes relacionadas con el sida. De hecho, así lo demuestra la incidencia: la tasa de prevalencia ha ido descendiendo progresivamente, y ha pasado de un 6.1 % en 2010 a un 3.9 % en el año 2019.
